The Problem:

Taking accurate measurements of oneself—whether for clothing, fitness, or health—often requires cumbersome physical tools, generates material waste, and can be highly inaccurate.

The Challenge:

We want you to build an innovative website or mobile app that integrates the SnapMeasure API to solve everyday measurement challenges seamlessly and sustainably. Help us eliminate measurement waste and create a frictionless experience for users!

Steps:

Go to snap2wear api dashboard and input copoun

Create an innovate web, moibile or iot based app (the choice is yours)

Submit with a nicely created video explaining your solution.

Requirements

To be eligible for prizes, your submission must meet the following criteria:

Integrate the API: Your project must be a functioning mobile app or website that successfully integrates the SnapMeasure API.

Solve the Problem: Your application must address the core problem of self-measurement or reducing measurement-related waste.

Demo Video: Provide a short video (maximum 3 minutes) demonstrating how your app works and how the API is utilized.

Code Repository: Include a link to your public GitHub (or similar) repository with your project's code.

New Work: All code must be written during the hackathon period. You may use open-source libraries and frameworks.

Judging Criteria

  • Effective Use of the snap2measure API
    Did the team successfully and meaningfully integrate the snap2measure API into their project? Is the API essential to the core functionality of the app or website, rather than just an afterthought?
  • Quality Software Development Practices
    Did the developers follow industry-standard coding practices? We will look at whether the code is well-structured, maintainable, and properly documented. Is the final prototype functional, robust, and relatively bug-free?
  • Uniqueness and Innovation
    Does the project offer a highly creative, unique solution to the problem using the provided tool? We are looking for out-of-the-box thinking and novel approaches to self-measurement that stand out from typical applications.
  • User Experience & Practical Impact
    Is the application intuitive, accessible, and easy for the average person to use? Most importantly, does the project successfully solve the core problem of making self-measurement accurate while effectively eliminating measurement waste?
